How to Add Geaux Grow as an Admin on Your Google Business Profile
To help you manage, optimize, or troubleshoot your Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business), we’ll need temporary admin access to your listing.
This guide walks you through adding Geaux Grow as a manager or owner using the email address:
📧 gmb@geauxgrow.com
🧭 Why We Need Access
Granting Geaux Grow access allows our team to:
- Update your business info, hours, photos, and categories
- Fix duplicate listings or address changes
- Manage reviews and ensure your profile stays verified and visible
- Connect your Google listing to your marketing campaigns and dashboards
Don’t worry — you remain the primary owner. We’re just added as an additional admin so we can assist and make updates efficiently.
🪜 Step-by-Step: Add Geaux Grow as an Admin
1. Go to Your Business Profile in Google
- On your computer, sign in to the Google Account you used to create your Business Profile.
- In Google Search, type your business name.
- You’ll see a panel on the right labeled Your business on Google.
💡 Alternatively, you can go directly to Google Business Profile Manager.
2. Open the “Business Profile Settings” Menu
- Click the three dots (⋮) next to your business name or click Settings.
- Select Business Profile settings → People and access.
3. Invite a New User
Click the “Add” button (plus sign).
Enter our email address:
📧 gmb@geauxgrow.com
Under Access level, choose one of the following:
- Manager → (Recommended) Allows us to manage and optimize your profile.
- Owner → Optional, only if we need full access to help merge or verify listings.
🔒 You will always remain the Primary Owner and can remove our access at any time.
4. Send the Invitation
- Click Invite.
- You’ll see “Invitation sent” — we’ll get an email notification to accept.
- Once accepted, our team will be able to start assisting right away.
5. (Optional) Remove Access Later
If you ever want to remove our access after the project:
- Go to People and access again.
- Click the X next to
gmb@geauxgrow.com. - Confirm Remove.
That’s it — your listing is now back to your sole control.
✅ Tips for Success
- Make sure you’re signed in with the same Google account that owns the business listing.
- If your business has multiple locations, you may need to repeat the process for each one.
- If you get an error saying “no access,” you may not be the owner — ask your current manager or marketing agency to complete these steps.
